  • This place is truly a blessing!!!! They actually care about you and your loved one. They will work with you on any budget and make things easier. Darren was really there for us in our time of need and desperation. I checked with a ton a funeral homes and none could help reduce the cost to my budget and none of them cared as much as Darren did. I am absolutely amazed! I would recommend this place to anyone.

  • As a Funeral Home we have to follow the law that the state of Oklahoma sets forth for us. When the Next of Kin to a Deceased cannot take care of the responsibilities the law allows for others to come forth and makes those decisions. As a Funeral Home we require everyone who takes care of those arrangements to provide us with the names of family members who are allowed to pick up the Cremains. Unfortunately that leaves certain people out and can have some hurt feelings between family members. Just for families information here is the regulations listed below Oklahoma Statutes Citationized Title 21. Crimes and Punishments Chapter 47 - Human Remains and Tissue, Burial, Cemeteries, and Funerals Section 1151a - Forfeiture of Right to Dispose of One's Body Cite as: O.S. ยง, __ __ Any person entitled by law to the right to dispose of the body of the decedent shall forfeit that right, and the right shall be passed on to the next qualifying person as listed in Section 1158 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, in the following circumstances: 1. Any person charged with first or second degree murder or voluntary manslaughter in connection with the death of the decedent, and whose charges are known to the funeral director; provided, however that if the charges against such person are dropped, or if such person is acquitted of the charges, the right of disposition shall be returned to the person; 2. Any person who does not exercise the right of disposition within three (3) days of notification of the death of the decedent or within five (5) days of the death of the decedent, whichever is earlier; or 3. If the district court, pursuant to Title 58 of the Oklahoma Statutes, determines that the person entitled to the right of disposition and the decedent were estranged at the time of death. For purposes of this paragraph, "estranged" means a physical and emotional separation from the decedent at the time of death that clearly demonstrates an absence of due affection, trust and regard for the decedent.

  • Darren was considerate, professional, and all around a great guy. My call was always taken by him, and they did amazing work in cremating my mother. They have, by far, the best price and service in town. It's always sad when you need this service, but trust them with it all. Their motto is something along the lines of "Enter as a guest, and leave a friend". I can say with confidence they fully embrace and honor this motto throughout.
