    I've recently became a new Tenant with D.s Properties i would like to share my experience with everyone ...i will update this through out my lease to give you a more current rating as well. First let me just Say the homes are decent floor plans i was lucky and i got the home i preferred and at the time they have several openings i did like their rental rates. Another thing that attracted me to them is the huge garages, all electric, and that the appliances were included. This might not be with ALL of their rentals. Also Scott is awesome he was very helpful, informative, and patient with us through the whole process but what i liked most was that he was kind. Unfortunately, i CAN NOT say the same with my experience with the office ladies. First, when i came into the Leasing office to Lease with THEM i was not greeted at all i had to greet them first i was very confused on where to go or who to speak with because no one came to try and help us. (customer service) they come across as if they hate their jobs and that you are a huge inconvenience. I had called several times through out the process of trying to get approved the ladies were super rude to me infact they didnt call me with me results that i had been approved with a co-signer i had to call them but not just once MULTIPLE times and when i finally get a hold of them they were very hateful and snappy. After signing our Lease agreement we were givin our move in inspection sheet to inspect the home right at move in and after working in real estate i know what to expect when a move in is made ready well let me tell you the carpets were not clean , the house keeping was not completed or even done at all? maintenance wasn't done and if so what did they do? yes that is how bad it was. i had food running all the way down both sides of the stoves and pee in the master bathroom toilet? holes in walls from im assuming someone punched it? nails in the walls everywhere as well. then doors needed replaced. four light bulbs were out. missing my glass bulb cover for light fixture. etc. I called THE MANAGER the next day : (KATIE) fyi. when i tell her the situation and tell her look i have carpets that i know for a fact havnt been clean i saw this unit right after the tenants moved out and the carpets are disgusting she denied it and said they were cleaned she also denied that that the maintenance crew didnt do a make ready so i told her i had pictures of every thing she finally then said she would have the carpets guys come out immediately and clean the carpets and have the maintenance guys come back and do what did do in the first place. Also on house keeping i will be held responsible for cleaning due to she couldnt schedule her housekeeper to come out on my day off? so she is just going to give me a concession on my rent . this is my experience so far i dont really know what else to say ive had more bad impressions then good unfortunately i will say im a lot happier now that my carpets are cleaned because i have baby who is constantly on the floors and that is just nasty UPDATE: first let me just say read the neighborhood reviews before renting my home was not only not made ready for move in but i live in a high crime area I hear gun shots all the time a week.ago my home was broken into up to 2000$ stolen out of my home while I was there I tried CONTACTING the landlord multiple times and no response! Also my lease was to have a co signer on it for 6 months and then the co signer was suppose to be taken off welp.ibr asked multiple times for cosigner to be removed and the paper work every time i ask for It I get they will send it to me through via email we never received it . Its now been two months later!!! Im.beyond frustrated with the whole situation I feel like this company does not take thrir residents as a priority not even the manager and owner. .
